Royalty & Payment Policy — Draft for Operational Review
Draft: payout mechanics require final operational confirmation.
Royalty allocation
Page2Digital allocates 90% of net royalties actually received from approved retailers to the publisher and retains 10%. Net royalties are amounts received after retailer-level deductions, refunds, reversals, withholding and applicable adjustments.
Reporting flow
Retailer reports → validation and adjustments → Page2Digital ledger → 90/10 allocation → publisher statement → eligible payout.
Statements and settlement
Retailers report and settle on their own schedules. Page2Digital should publish the actual reporting cadence, payout frequency, supported currencies, minimum payout threshold, fees, exchange-rate methodology, tax withholding and dispute window before enabling royalty payouts.
Corrections and reserves
Returns, chargebacks, corrected retailer statements and substantiated rights disputes may require adjustments. Any reserve or withholding must be proportionate, documented and consistent with the final distribution agreement.
Free launch
There is no registration, annual maintenance or per-book distribution charge during the introductory launch. The 10% commission still applies to net royalties received.
